A couple friends and I hit up some of the beautiful state parks on the east side of Iowa.  

Named for the skateboard my friend Tyler is riding (the "Urban Assault" by Landyachtz), this video was the first one I made.  Mostly comprised of footage we caught while still learning how to ride, the speed and skill are rather low in this video, but hey, you gotta start somewhere.  I am pretty proud of how the editing turned out.

Meant to be the introduction to a longer sequel to "Urban Assault Bombing",  I like the way this video stands on its own.  Showcasing some hidden spots in Iowa City, and the beautiful trails at Sugar Bottom.  Unfortunately in a college town, friends move away every few years, so we never got any further with this installment.

You never catch the best crashes on tape... The ones you brag about when showing scars...  Or that haunt you when trying a new run...  But I did happen to catch this crash on tape, and so thought that I should share it with my friends for a laugh.  Thankfully, the ditch had some nice soft grass to slam my face into.  :)
