Why I chose this tent for the ride...
I need a tent that is lightweight, good in the weather, has a vestibule, and has a small pack size. The Spitfire Solo fits all these requirements. At under three pounds, it cuts my bag weight down significantly compared to my current tents. The vestibule, although small, will be large enough for me to stow my board out of the weather (and out of sight). It packs small especially when you separate the tent and fly from the poles and stakes, making it fit nicely in my bag, and therefore not having to bring a huge backpack. Just big enough for one man and his gear, this will be all the space I need in my little home away from home.
